We sell used, vintage, and antiquarian books. All books are described as accurately as possible, including details of condition, age, and any known defects.

As many of our books are old or rare, reasonable signs of age or wear are to be expected.
Buyers should carefully review descriptions and photographs before purchasing.

3. Orders and Contract Formation

All orders are subject to availability.
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance.
A contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£).
Payment is required at the time of ordering.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
Literary Treasures is not VAT registered. No VAT is charged on sales.

5. Shipping

Orders are usually dispatched within 2 working days of payment.
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout.

6. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds

Right to Cancel (UK Customers)

If you are a UK consumer purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, subject to any applicable legal exceptions.
To cancel, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your item and clearly let us know that you wish to cancel your order.
After notifying us of your cancellation, you must return the item without undue delay and normally within 14 days of telling us that you wish to cancel.
The item should be returned in the condition in which it was received, subject to reasonable handling necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and condition.

Condition of Returned Goods

Returned items must be in the same condition as when sold, allowing for reasonable handling as described above.
We reserve the right to reduce the refund if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and characteristics, in accordance with applicable law.

Faulty or Misdescribed Items

If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will deal with faulty, damaged or misdescribed items in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Where applicable, we will offer a full refund and cover reasonable return postage costs.
