Condition:
This is a well-preserved copy, now nearly 90 years old. The cloth boards are intact and robust, showing only light wear: gentle bumping at the corners, slight rubbing to edges and spine ends, and a touch of discolouration to the spine. Please refer to the photographs for full details.
Inside, the pages are:
Very lightly tanned, with light foxing to endpapers and pastedowns
Predominantly clean and uncreased, with only minor marks or small creases on a few pages
A few page edges are roughly cut, likely due to the original uncut construction — part of the charm of older books
There are no inscriptions, no writing, and no missing pages. The binding remains tight and secure, making this a strong and attractive copy.
Dimensions:
Approximately 19 cm x 12.8 cm x 3.6 cm
Weight: Approx. 718 grams
This is a charming and collectable vintage edition of one of the most beloved fairy tale anthologies in the English language.
