Soft bumping to top front corner and bottom spine
Small dents to edge of back board
No dust jacket (as issued)
Interior:
Thick, lightly tanned pages
Endpapers show darker tanning with light foxing on prelims, pastedowns, and edges
Pages clean and neat with only occasional minor marks or small folds
Some of the page edges are uneven and roughly cut, likely due to the construction of this book and is all part of its beautiful history. The page leaves were probably uncut and then severed with a pen knife
No rips or loose leaves
Pen inscription dated 1927 on front free endpaper
No other writing inside
Partial binding crack near the final sonnet (Sonnet 44) at top of page; some rubbing and excess paper in that area
